



The Brizeux in brief
PRESENTATION
Le Brizeux is an institution in Quimperlé.This family business was established on 29th April 1972.Its name – which is also the name of the riverbank on which it is located – refers to the Breton romantic poet Auguste Brizeux (1803-1858).Located in the lower part of the town, it faces the Laïta, the estuary formed at the junction of the rivers Ellé and Isole.Le Brizeux is an untypical place. Its impressive Gothic lancet arch provides an original atmosphere.This arch rises from the bar up to the reception hall on the 1st floor.
It is a welcoming place for all, with:
- a bar
- halls for rent and available for cultural activities
- The 1st floor can accommodate up to 70 people and the juke box up to 30.
- a comfortable hotel thoroughly renovated in 2016
- and much more.... an authentic place swarming with ideas, projects, cultural gatherings!
PARTNERSHIP
The organization Label Citron was established in the autumn of 2015.
At the Brizeux, it impulses its great energy in the organization and making up of events.
It aims at promoting all forms of artistic activities.
Its mottos are: sharing, exploring, making new experiments...
Concerts, performances, workshops, meetings, exhibitions, art design residentials ... all to be fully enjoyed and savoured!
